Any unresolved feelings, fears or limiting beliefs can manifest as chronic pain, anxiety, depression and even illness or unwanted weight gain or loss.

Hi, I’m Lou.

I’m an Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Matrix Reimprinting practitioner based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. My mission is to support people that are accustomed to caring for everyone else but themselves — to help them learn how to prioritise their own health and happiness.

My approach brings together the evidence-based, mind-body practices of Emotional Freedom Techniques, mindfulness and yoga to transform lives.

It was my own health journey that guided me to this path. With the tool of EFT tapping, I was able to release the negative thoughts, feelings and patterns that my body was holding on to. By learning how to listen to my body and intuition, I was able to make better self-care choices and live a healthy, active and connected life, free of chronic illness and depression.

Now, I empower others with the tools and awareness they can use in their daily lives.

My goal is to empower you with practical skills and tools you can use in daily life. You’ll learn how to calm your body’s stress response in triggering times.
Knowing that you can self-regulate, manage your emotions, and respond differently to difficult situations builds confidence and clarity — it allows you to live with more freedom and less fear.

What is EFT?

EFT tapping is an evidence-based brief intervention used to release negative emotions or physical sensations and restore the body’s natural balance. Clinical EFT is supported by a growing body of scientific research and clinical trials that demonstrate its effectiveness in resolving:

●        phobias

●        food cravings

How do EFT and mind-body practices work?

Emotions and memories are felt, stored and experienced in the body, not the mind.

When we experience a stressful or traumatic event, our nervous system is overwhelmed, impacting our body’s ability to function with resilience and ease.

 Somatic practices such as tapping make use of the interconnectedness of the body and mind to restore balance and release physical, emotional and spiritual pain.

With these techniques, we not only relieve symptoms but allow the body to remain in a state of healing for more of the time.
